Agricultural Lender

Location: Rockford IL

A well-established regional bank is seeking an Agricultural Lender to support and grow agricultural banking relationships throughout the Northern Illinois market. This role offers the opportunity to work with a highly respected banking platform that combines strong credit resources with a relationship-driven culture.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage agricultural and agribusiness lending relationships
• Originate farm operating lines equipment financing real estate loans and agribusiness credits
• Grow deposits and additional banking relationships within the agricultural community
• Conduct customer visits and maintain strong client engagement
• Identify new business opportunities through networking and community involvement
• Partner with internal teams to structure sound credit solutions

Qualifications

• 5 years of agricultural lending experience preferred
• Existing agricultural or commercial portfolio strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of agricultural operations and credit structures
• Proven relationship management and business development skills
• Experience with both operating and real estate agricultural loans preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
