POSITION SCOPE
The Aggregate Tester is responsible for testing volume weight density moisture compaction air void and content of aggregate/road materials. This position covers the Northern Region (North Dakota South Dakota Montana & Wyoming.) This is an hourly full-time non-exempt position. This position includes the use of a company vehicle or vehicle lease option and requires extensive overnight travel.
PRIMARY DUTIES
Collect material samples on job site
Test material samples to ensure product needs meet the specifications for the project
Work with job foreman to ensure material is being produced to required specifications
Communicate sample results with Fisher Sand & Gravel management and project owners representatives
Measure stockpiles
Assist crew with setup teardown and operation of plant
Prospect for new aggregate sources
Perform other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
Must have a valid drivers license and clean driving record
Mut be 18 years of age or older
Requires extensive overnight travel
Good math & computer skills
Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally
