Youll be responsible for operating monitoring and maintaining crushing screening and washing equipment to ensure the safe and efficient production of sand and gravel used in construction projects across the region.

Plant Operations & Monitoring:

• Operate and monitor processing equipment including crushers conveyors screens feeders and wash plants.
• Adjust equipment settings and controls to maintain consistent material quality and production flow.
• Perform start-up and shutdown procedures including inspections and system checks.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting:

• Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as greasing bearings replacing belts clearing clogs and inspecting wear components.
• Assist maintenance teams in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical hydraulic and electrical issues.
• Keep detailed records of downtime repairs and maintenance logs.

Material Quality & Production Tracking:

• Ensure proper blending and sizing of materials according to specifications.
• Monitor material flow and reject off-spec material as needed.
• Communicate production goals and material needs with foremen or dispatch.

Safety & Housekeeping:

• Follow all MSHA safety guidelines and company safety procedures.
• Participate in daily safety meetings and inspections.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area around plant equipment conveyors and stockpiles.

Desired Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 13 years of experience in aggregate production or plant operations.
• Mechanical aptitude with ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
• Familiarity with MSHA regulations and industrial safety standards.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs work at heights and in outdoor conditions year-round.
• Self-motivated team-oriented and dependable.
• Valid drivers license required.
