Job Summary

Job Title: Agentic AI Engineer

Location: Secaucus NJ United States

We are seeking a strong Agentic AI Engineer to design and develop AI agents for high-impact pilots and POCs for a global retail client. The role requires hands-on expertise in agentic AI frameworks and LLM-based application development. The engineer will work closely with business and technology teams to quickly translate requirements into functional AI agents enabling rapid experimentation and innovation. This is a strategic role with high visibility requiring agility strong problem-solving skills and the ability to operate in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

Agent Development & Prototyping

Design and build AI agents using agentic frameworks such as LangGraph or similar
Rapidly prototype and deliver POCs aligned to business use cases
Translate functional requirements into working agent-based solutions

AI/LLM Solution Engineering

Develop and integrate LLM-based applications and workflows
Design prompt strategies orchestration logic and agent interactions
Optimize performance and scalability of AI agents

Stakeholder Collaboration

Work closely with business and technology stakeholders to understand requirements
Support innovation initiatives and AI-led reimagination programs

Innovation & Experimentation

Drive rapid experimentation cycles and iterative improvements
Evaluate new tools frameworks and approaches in the agentic AI space

Qualifications

Required Skills & Competencies

Strong 3-6 years of hands-on experience in agentic AI frameworks / AI agent development
Proficiency in Python and LLM-based application development
Experience in GenAI use cases and rapid prototyping
Ability to quickly translate requirements into working solutions
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or related field

Good-to-Have

Experience in retail/eCommerce domain
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
