| Salary Range: $35.00/hr | Hours per week: 1.50-6.00 |
General Statement:Supervise and support afterschool Homework Club sessions for middle school students maintaining a structured learning environment and providing hands-on support for homework projects and academic tasks.
Responsibilities:
Assist middle school students with daily homework assignments projects and test preparation across various subjects.
Support core skills and study strategies to support diverse learning styles.
Provide continuous supervision to ensure a safe structured and quiet learning environment during after-school hours.
Track student attendance and maintain progress notes or communication records.
Communicatewith school administrators department heads and classroom teachers to stay aligned on student goals.
Enforce school conduct rules safety guidelines and procedures.
- Escort students to the late bus and direct them to the correct bus assignment.
Qualifications:
- Ability to guide students through general core subjects (math science English/language arts and social studies).
- Skill in maintaining attendance records and communicating progress or expectations with teachers parents and administrators.
Education:
- Bachelors Degree preferred
- High school diploma
Experience:
- Prior experience supervising tutoring or teaching school-age children (particularly middle school or elementary grades).
- Bachelors degreepreferred
Physical Requirements:
- Walk climb stairs bend and lift up to 45lbs.
