Job Summary
Position Overview:We are seeking a dedicated and organized After-School Site Coordinator to lead the daily operations of our after-school program. The ideal candidate will have experience in program coordination staff supervision and working with school-aged children. As a Site Coordinator you will ensure the program runs smoothly aligns with our after-school program expectations and meets the needs of students and parents.
Key Responsibilities:
Location: 77083 Houston (southwest/west)
Hours: 3:00-6:00pm M-F
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee daily operations of the after-school program ensuring a safe and structured environment.
- Lead and supervise a team of staff to implement engaging and educational activities.
- Build strong relationships with students parents school staff and community members to foster a positive and collaborative program environment.
- Ensure compliance with all organization and district policies safety regulations and licensing requirements.
- Maintain accurate attendance records and daily site report
- Collaborate with the site team to implement activities that meet students academic and social-emotional needs.
- Handle student discipline in accordance with program policies and procedures.
- Manage program materials supplies and equipment ensuring adequate resources are available.
- High school diploma
- Minimum of1 year of experience working in an educational childcare or youth development setting.
- Previous supervisory experience is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Passion for working with children
- Part-time hours during after-school program hours typically Monday-Friday.
- Requires regular standing walking and interaction with children.
