After-school Program Leader-Part-Time - Fairfield CA

Pay: $21-$23.00 an hour

In this role you will play a pivotal part in shaping memories that children will cherish for a lifetime. As a Program Leader we are looking for individuals to inspire spark curiosity encouraging creativity a sense of community warmth and foster a deep sense of belonging for every child.

Locations: Cordelia David Weir Dover Nelda Mundy Suisun Valley TK Anna Kyle TK Fairview TK Sullivan and Tolenas

Schedule: Monday - Friday after school 1:30 to 6:00 PM.

Heres what youll need:

• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs
• Proof of experience as required by state childcare licensing regulations

The district requires all instructional support staff meet paraprofessional qualifications. This means candidates must meet one of the following:

• Hold an Associates degree or higher
• Have completed 48 college semester units
• OR pass the Paraprofessional (ParaPro) Exam

**If a candidate does not meet the educational requirement they will need to complete the ParaPro testing process prior to being hired or starting in their position.**

As an AlphaBEST Program Leader youll be trained to do the following:

• Lead a group of students through exciting adventures in fitness the arts technology and more!
• Work collaboratively with peers to ignite childrens sense of wonder.
• Encourage creativity and intellectual curiosity by building on students interests and talents.
• Provide a caring family-oriented environment where positive staff child and parent relationships are fostered.
