Togetherhood is Coming to DC!

Weve built an incredible network of over 400 teachers coaches and instructors in New York Philadelphia New Jersey and Connecticut. Now Togetherhood is coming to DC and were looking for amazing instructors who are seeking flexible good-paying supplemental work and are excited about having the freedom to use their own lesson plans and curriculum.

At Togetherhood were building something special: a vibrant marketplace where passionate educators meet schools and communities hungry for enrichment. Whether its arts & crafts skateboarding breakdancing or STEM through the lens of Harry Potter we match talented instructors with opportunities to share their skills and spark joy in the next generation and we match assistants to help those instructors to make those classes truly great.

Our mission is simple but powerful: to infuse every community with high quality enrichment and education.

What Youll Do

You will be matched with opportunities to be a classroom assistant for 1-2 hour shifts at schools buildings and communities across DC. These classroom assisting opportunities will be for terms that could last anywhere from 6 weeks to 18 this role youll have the following responsibilities:

• Assist the primary classroom instructor in facilitating a great class
• Consistently arrive at your class on time (or early!)
• Create memorable experiences for the children in your classrooms

Who You Are

• Able to create positive class community and build relationships with students
• Has excitement joy and passion for teaching kids and personal development/learning
• Cooperative supportive flexible
• Has a strong work ethic and do whatever it takes mind set
• At least two references
