After Hours SupervisorPet Sitter & Dog Walker – Rotating Weekends

Floofins & Co. is a professional pet sitting and dog walking company headquartered in Elmhurst IL and servicing the surrounding Western Suburbs. Were growing and were looking for an experienced pet care professional to join our team in a supervisory capacity covering after-hours client care and field operations.

This isnt an entry-level role. Were looking for someone who already knows what professional pet care looks like and is ready to help lead a team of sitters and walkers from behind the scenes.

About the role:

The After Hours Supervisor is responsible for client care and field management during non-business hours. Youll work mostly from home (or anywhere within our service area) handling client communications monitoring staff in the field and stepping in to help when situations require it. Think of it as a mix of remote coordination and occasional field work with the autonomy to manage your own time between check-ins. Shift rotations are Friday night through Sunday night with opportunities for additional shifts as well as field work.

What youll be doing:

• Monitoring and responding to after-hours client calls and urgent emails
• Handling staff helpline calls supporting sitters with lockouts emergencies or unexpected situations
• Reviewing visit progress and following up on late alerts
• Managing day-of and next-day scheduling and cancelations
• Ferrying keys to staff in the field when lockboxes malfunction
• Picking up overflow visits yourself when no other sitter is closer
• Logging all activity and preparing shift handoff notes for the management team

Compensation:

• Availability Stipend for basic remote supervisory duties (answering calls monitoring email/voicemail schedule management)
• Hourly pay ($17-$19/hour depending on experience) for any field deployments with round-trip mileage reimbursement and other more involved administrative duties

What were looking for:

• Minimum 6 months of experience at a professional pet sitting and/or dog walking company (references required)
• Reliable transportation as you may need to deploy within our service area at short notice
• Comfortable being responsive during scheduled shift hours
• Strong communication skills; able to stay calm and make good decisions under pressure
• Experience with pet care software (Precise Petcare Time to Pet or similar) is a plus
