Position Aerospace Supply Chain Manager
Location: Pleasant Prairie WI

We are currently seeking an experienced Aerospace Supply Chain Manager to support aerospace manufacturing and production operations. This role is responsible for managing strategic supplier relationships negotiating long-term agreements improving supplier performance and ensuring continuity of supply across critical aerospace commodities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead negotiations for long-term agreements (LTAs) supplier contracts and pricing structures
  • Develop negotiation strategies that align with cost targets delivery requirements and supply chain objectives
  • Manage contract renewals amendments and commercial compliance
  • Resolve supplier performance issues and negotiate recovery plans when necessary
  • Monitor supplier delivery commitments and production schedules
  • Lead supplier recovery efforts to minimize production disruptions
  • Track supplier performance metrics including on-time delivery lead-time adherence and backlog exposure
  • Develop sourcing strategies for assigned aerospace commodities
  • Conduct supplier benchmarking cost analysis and market evaluations
  • Identify and qualify new suppliers to improve capacity and supply chain resilience
  • Lead supplier business reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure supplier compliance with aerospace quality and regulatory requirements
  • Partner with Engineering Quality Operations and Program Management teams to support business objectives
  • Other duties as assigned

Summary of Education Experience & Certification

  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Business Engineering or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of aerospace procurement supply chain sourcing or supplier management experience required
  • Experience negotiating long-term supplier agreements and pricing structures required
  • Strong knowledge of aerospace manufacturing supply chains required
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

Compensation

  • Pay Rate: $40.00 $50.00 per hour
  • Long-term contract opportunity
  • Potential for extension based on performance and program needs

Required Knowledge Skills & Abilities

  • Strong supplier relationship management experience
  • Experience managing aerospace commodities and sourcing strategies
  • Knowledge of contract negotiations and commercial management
  • Ability to evaluate supplier performance and develop corrective actions
  • Experience supporting manufacturing and production environments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with ERP systems Microsoft Excel and supply chain tools
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced aerospace environment
  • Strong understanding of supplier quality and delivery performance metrics
