opening for a Program Manager.

Description

The Program Manager is responsible for leading major programs and projects project team leadership and

customer support from contract award through qualification and transition to full-rate production.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure safety is the foundation of daily work through vigilance and accountability
• Control and manage schedule cost customer interface and risk for major projects and programs including use
• of schedules reports action items and team meetings as appropriate
• Provide leadership to cross functional project teams and obtain necessary resources to meet customer
• requirements
• Customer communications and relationship management for assigned accounts
• Monitor and management of directed changes and associated claims
• Track/report customer & program news
• Provide monthly and/or weekly status reports including accomplishments progress issues schedule opportunities cost milestones and risk
• Support development of strategic plan

Education & Experience Requirements

• Associates Degree or higher and 3 years experience related to the roles and responsibilities above OR
• Bachelors Degree in business engineering or engineering management from an accredited university plus
• one-year project management experience.
• Familiarity and abilities in the following areas:
  • Program and project management
  • Leadership interpersonal and administrative skills
  • Customer service
  • Contract Oversight including FAR DFAR NNPI ITAR Import/Export ISO SOX and portal systems
• Experience using MS Office products (Project Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook).
• Basic understanding of engineering design and manufacturing processes
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and a single cross-functional project simultaneously and shift priorities as needed to support business needs and critical deadlines.
• Must be US Citizen

Must be able and willing to work extra time as required to ensure completion of all assigned projects.
