Posimech is an AS9100/ISO9001 Certified HighMix/LowVolume Precision Machine Shop with over 45 years of continuous operation. We are a topperforming supplier supporting major military aircraft platforms groundsupport systems Boeing Airbus and emerging SpaceXrelated programs.
We are seeking a qualified a a meticulous Quality Inspector to ensure our parts are right the first time every time.
The Role
You will perform in-process and final dimensional inspections of tight-tolerance machined parts and assemblies according to exact technical specifications. You will verify that all manufactured goods meet rigid AS9100 and military compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) and complex in-process and final inspections.
- Interpret blueprints engineering drawings and apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles.
- Program set up and operate CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines) using Zeiss Calypso / PC-DMIS software.
- Utilize manual measuring instruments including calipers micrometers thread gages and drop gages.
- Document non-conformances and maintain accurate quality control records in our ERP system.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2-5 years of hands-on quality inspection experience in an aerospace defense or tight-tolerance CNC machining environment.
- Must have experience using at least these measuring methods
- Zeiss CMM
- Micrometers
- Calipers
- Height gages
- Precision Bore Gages
- Rockwell Hardness testers
- Niko Vision System
- Thread Gages
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and ASME Y14.5 GD&T standards.
- Proven proficiency in CMM programming and operation.
- Experience with aerospace quality standards (AS9100/ISO 9001).
- High school diploma or equivalent (Technical degree or ASME GDTP certification is a plus).
