Aerospace CNC Machinist

We are currently hiring for multiple Aerospace CNC Machinists in Kent WA to join the team responsible for producing precision aerospace components. These are 612 month W2 contract roles with the potential for extension. Overtime is encouraged and youll be working with state-of-the-art CNC machinery in a highly collaborative and quality-focused environment.

Open Shifts:
B Shift: Monday Thursday 3:00 PM 1:30 AM $46.67/hr W2
D Shift: Friday Sunday 5:00 PM 5:30 AM $48.79/hr W2

Overtime is available and encouraged.

Role Overview:
Youll work closely with a diverse team of machinists NC programmers and engineers to set up operate and maintain advanced CNC machinery. Youll help fabricate tight-tolerance flight-critical parts for launch vehicles and spacecraft directly impacting Blue Origins missions.

Key Responsibilities:
Program set up and operate 3 4 and 5-axis mills and multi-axis lathes
Machining of aerospace-grade materials: Inconel Monel titanium copper and aluminum
Ensure product quality and adherence to tight tolerances and GD&T standards
Collaborate with engineering on process documentation and optimization
Maintain safety and quality standards in a fast-paced high-stakes environment
Use of CNC controls such as Fanuc Siemens Heidenhain and Mazatrol

Ideal Candidate Has:
5 years of experience in aerospace or high-precision machining
Strong understanding of blueprints and GD&T (ASME Y14.5M-1994)
Experience with machines such as Mazak Kuraki Hermle OM or DMG Mori
Familiarity with CNC programming software such as Mastercam or Unigraphics NX
Ability to work with minimal supervision and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
