Job Summary

Summary:

The TAB Project Manager is responsible for managing TAB projects which include estimating bidding and project management. This position involves personnel interaction on the customer level as well as the construction level.

The Project Manager works with the Construction Services Manager in a mentorship program to allow for slow steady growth and development of the PM as it relates to their sales business development engineering and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contacting the customer during the bid process to get due date drawings and job requirements.
  • Reviewing the submittals specifications and prints to determine the scope of work.
  • Estimate the testing and balancing hours required to complete the project based on the scope of work developed with the project engineer.
  • Gather all site related information including site contacts prints for the job parking requirements and site address.
  • Prepare the balancing reports for the upcoming job.
  • Send RFIs for discrepancies in data.
  • Set up the in-house job start meeting between field supervisor and engineer.
  • Manage job progress communicate job progress and monitor and help solve issues in the field.
  • Send testing and balancing status updates bi-weekly minimum.
  • Coordinate start of job with startup technician project engineer field foreman controls contractor.
  • Visit the jobsite regularly to coordinate with the jobsite startup technician control contractor foreman and to attend MEP coordination meetings as required.
  • Set up regular billing based on project completion percentage.
  • Review of reports from the field looking for open deficiencies issues formatting errors typographical errors. Review with field supervisor.
  • Send final balancing reports to engineer reviewing the reports with them in person.
  • Look for new opportunities for balancing projects
  • Sell all services of Aero to customers.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of mechanical and control systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong computer ability including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam

Other Qualifications:



  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Mechanical Engineering Technology or Building Construction Management preferred
