Aero Performance Group is seeking an ambitious and motivated Building Performance Project Engineer to join our growing Building Operational Performance team.

This entry-level position is ideal for recent graduates and early-career professionals interested in HVAC systems commissioning energy performance building automation facility operations sustainability and high-performance buildings.

You will work alongside experienced engineers and project managers helping healthcare systems commercial real estate owners universities laboratories and industrial facilities improve how their buildings operate.

Building Operational Performance focuses on improving how facilities function throughout their lifecycle through:

• Commissioning (Cx)

What Youll Do

• Support Project Managers and senior engineers on building performance projects.
• Participate in site visits field investigations functional testing and system assessments.
• Review HVAC mechanical electrical and control systems.
• Analyze building automation system trends and operational data.
• Assist with commissioning and retro-commissioning activities.
• Help develop reports technical documentation and client deliverables.
• Track project action items schedules and documentation.
• Attend client meetings and support project coordination.
• Learn industry best practices related to building systems and facility operations.
• Follow company and client safety requirements at all times.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelors Degree in:

• • Mechanical Engineering
  • Architectural Engineering
  • Construction Management
  • Building Science
  • Energy Engineering
  • Related technical field

• Strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Preferred:

• Internship or co-op experience related to:

  • Construction

  • Commissioning
  • Testing & Balancing

• Exposure to AutoCAD Revit Bluebeam BAS platforms or energy analysis tools.
