Summary:

The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse/Nurse Practitioner will perform exams and health screens manage chronic conditions teach and counsel patients conduct and interpret diagnoses and laboratory tests create care plans promote wellness and coordinate referral care with specialists.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assess patient health by interviewing patients; performing physical examinations; obtaining updating and studying medical histories.
• Order tests to ascertain the nature and extent of illnesses and injuries.
• Prescribe medications to remedy medical problems.
• Provide patient education and counseling.
• Stitch wounds and set bones.
• Administer immunizations.
• Promote good health practices.
• Travel every other week for 2-3 consecutive days to locations throughout Oklahoma Missouri and Kansas.
• This job is safety sensitive for medical marijuana purposes.
• This position requires driving a personal vehicle on behalf of the company or a company vehicle; therefore the applicant must successfully complete a motor vehicle records check possess and maintain a current valid drivers license in their state of residence and immediately self-report convictions/violations/tickets to the DOT Compliance Specialist as per Company Policy. Any negative change in the status of the employees driving record may result in the revocation of the employees privilege to drive for the company.

Education/Skill Requirements:

• Board Certified and have current Licensing.
• Graduate of an Accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• This position requires strong organizational skills.
• Patience problem-solving skills and strong communication ability.
• Bilingual is preferred.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to continuously sit stand or walk.
• Ability to bend squat climb stairs and lift frequently.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Work environment:

• Office job site job trailer or field office.
