Virginia Mason Franciscan Health a part of the Pacific Northwest Division of CommonSpirit is actively seeking a highly motivated and skilled APP (NP or PA) to join our esteemed Gyn/Onc team in Tacoma WA.

Position Overview

We are a well-established and busy womens health group located in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. The group consists of one Gyn/Onc physician and one other APP. This position is replacing a well-established APP. We provide evidenced-based womens healthcare services to Tacoma and surrounding communities.

This position will include clinic hospital rounding and surgical assisting duties. This is a part-time position (.80FTE) with three 10 hour days Tuesday-Thursday. The call schedule is one weeknight per week with physician backup.

Our group serves in one of the most rapidly growing areas in the country. Living in the Puget Sound Region provides for active city life but still offers plenty of outdoor adventures. You can choose between city living and the suburbs.

Job Requirements

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Graduate from a Nurse Practitioner or PA program

  • Experience in Gyn/Onc is preferred

  • Licensed in the state of WA as an ARNP or PA by the time of employment

  • Board certified by the time of employment

  • DEA NPI & prescriptive authority

  • Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association
