Job Title: Advanced Practice Provider General Surgery

What Youll Champion:

• Diverse practice combining inpatient care outpatient follow-up visits surgical first assist responsibilities and procedure-based patient management.
• Broad exposure to both emergency general surgery and elective surgical cases including consults rounding triage and operating room support.
• Collaborative team environment working alongside three surgeons and two APPs in a well-established general surgery practice.
• Flexible scheduling model with a mix of day evening and overnight coverage averaging approximately 36 hours per week across 15 shifts per month.

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

• Masters Degree Nurse Practitioner Required or
• Bachelors Degree Physician Assistant Required
• Masters Degree Physician Assistant Preferred

Work Experience:

• 1 year Required

Licenses:

• Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner Upon Hire Required or
• Licensed Physician Assistant Upon Hire Required and
• Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required or
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:

• BLS and/or ACLS as appropriate for the clinical role. Upon Hire Required and
• Nurse Practitioner - board certified by American Nurses Credentialing Center Commission on Certification Upon Hire Required and
• Nurse Practitioner - Completion of an accredited program for nurse practitioners Upon Hire Required or
• Physician Assistant - Graduate of accredited physician assistant program Upon Hire Required
