Job Summary: | The Division of Pulmonary Allergy and Critical Care Medicine is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for the Pulmonary Vascular Disease Clinic. The NP provides specialized high-quality care to patients with complex disease focusing specially on care of pulmonary hypertension pulmonary embolism and hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasias. This role functions as a key clinical provider and care coordinator working collaboratively and closely with physicians nurses and multidisciplinary teams. NP plays a critical role in improving access to specialty care enhancing care coordination and supporting the growth and clinical excellence of the Pulmonary Hypertension program. You will conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients titrate and manage advanced PH therapies interpret diagnostic studies and provide longitudinal follow-up care for patients co-managed with Attending physicians. Additional roles include serving as a point of contact for patients navigating complex treatment regimens educating patients and families on disease process treatment plans and medication management and providing support and counseling overall. This role directly impacts patient outcomes strengthens collaboration between clinical team members and contributes to the growth of the Pulmonary Hypertension Accredited Center program. Anticipated Pay Range: | The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE: $80000 - $100000 The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the Universitys good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
