Key Tasks

• Develop comprehensive manufacturing plans for new products and implement on time / within budget. Manufacturing plans will meet safety quality delivery and cost targets in line with operational strategies.
  
• Reach out to and partner with internal and external resources to develop the goals listed above.
  
• Incorporate Lean manufacturing principles into strategy and processes.
  
• Understand and effectively use the Permobil ERP system (Dynamics 365)
  
• Stay current withnew technologiesandresearch options for facilities.
  
• Providemanufacturing inputtoDesignfor Manufacturing (DFM)activities &reviews.
  
• Review & approve product designs for optimized manufacturability and ease of assembly.
  
• Translate manufacturing/operational needs into product requirements andsubsequentspecifications.
  
• Developand release process documentation with cross-functional teams.
  
• Develop and execute process validation with cross-functional teams. Proactivelydeterminemeasures and standards of success for project product and process quality within project teams.
  
• Lead manufacturing equipment selection processfrom design requirements through release to production.
  
• Lead plant layout & design activitiesincluding material flow storage and standard workdevelopment.
  
• Lead technical transfer of new products from R&D team to operations.
  
• Supportoperationsteamin creatingMedical Device Documentation (technical documentationstandard work PFEP etc.).
  
• Prioritize and handlemultipleprojectsin a fast paced and resultsfocusedenvironment.

Your Background

• Engineering degree
  
• 5 years of engineering experience in manufacturing or operations
  
• Lean manufacturing tools and application
  
• Understanding of industry and regulatory requirements such as Current Good Manufacturing Practices FDA Quality System Regulations and ISO 13485 Standards preferred
  
• Manufacturing quality systems
  
• Manufacturing statistics & their application
