The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) Mobility Surveillance & Bombers (MS&B) Organization is seeking an Advanced E-7A Senior Engineering Manager to lead execution for the Advanced E-7 Engineering team from Tukwila WA or Oklahoma City OK.
The Advanced E-7 Senior Engineering Manager will lead a multidisciplinary engineering team responsible for overall engineering execution for the Advanced E-7 development program. This leader will be part of a strategic engineering leadership team to include the Advanced E-7 Deputy Chief Engineer and BDA (Boeing Defense Australia) Senior Engineering Manager to collaborate across sites countries and business units. This role provides both technical leadership and people management ensuring engineering execution meets cost schedule quality safety and compliance objectives in alignment with the overall E-7 Program. The position will work across functional teams customers suppliers and senior leadership to drive strategic engineering outcomes.
Position Responsibilities:
- Manages employees and mid-level managers performing activities within multiple (2 or more) Engineering disciplines.
- Develops and executes integrated organizational plans policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies goals objectives.
- Acquires resources for organizational activities provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners and direct reports.
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches products and processes in alignment with the Advanced E-7 Deputy Chief Engineer.
- Manages develops and motivates employees and mid-level managers.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology) Computer Science Data Science Mathematics Physics Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
- 10 years of engineering experience.
- 5 years of management experience.
- Willing and able to travel up to 25% of the time both domestically and internationally.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Active U.S. Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
