Adult Residential Support Professional (Part-Time 2nd Shift)

Lutheran Social Services (LSS) is seeking a compassionate and dependable Adult Residential Support Professional to join our team at a new 50-bed residential treatment program for adult males opening in Chippewa Falls in Spring/Summer 2026.

Schedule

  • Two weekdays: 2:00 PM 10:00 PM
  • Every other weekend: 10:00 AM 10:00 PM
About the Role

In this direct care role you will support residents in recovery by providing supervision encouragement life-skills coaching and a safe structured environment. Youll work closely with residents to support treatment goals while responding appropriately to daily needs challenges and crisis situations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and support residents in a residential treatment setting
  • Serve as a positive role model and provide daily encouragement
  • Document observations and maintain accurate records
  • Support treatment plans and resident goals
  • Assist with medication monitoring/administration
  • Help with housekeeping laundry meals and daily living activities
  • Transport residents to appointments and community activities
  • Facilitate educational and life-skills activities
  • Respond to emergencies and maintain a safe environment
  • Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Valid drivers license and reliable transportation required
  • Experience in human services behavioral health substance use treatment or residential care preferred
  • Strong communication problem-solving and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
