As the Day Services Coordinator you will promote high-quality outcomes for persons served and manage Day Service operations including developing activity schedules communicating with parents/guardians and training and supporting staff. You will also support the development and operation of client-supported employment and community service/volunteer activities. Some duties include:
- Creating high-quality activity schedules and calendars in accordance with participants skill plans
- Supervising Day Services staff including scheduling giving feedback and providing ongoing training and support
- Coordinating caseloads and attending support plan meetings for caseload
- Communicating with parents/guardians and sending monthly newsletters activity calendars and event flyers highlighting program activities
- Ensuring accurate documentation data collection and medication administration
- Purchasing materials needed for activities and ensuring program is fully stocked
Some qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in a social services or related field preferred
- One to two years of prior experience of a similar scope
- Flexibility in assigned working hours and location
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- Must successfully pass criminal background check
- Must be a safe driver and have a valid drivers license
- Must be able to physically support clients with and without adaptive equipment
