Avalon Care Center at Northpointe in Spokane is seeking an Admissions Nurse to join our team!
$48.00- $54.69 /hr

**Placement within the wage range for this position is determined by years of experience qualifications and demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions.**
Admissions Process
- Complete admission assessments for incoming residents including physical and clinical evaluations.
- Coordinate admissions to ensure a smooth transition into the facility.
- Review hospital records physician orders medications and treatment plans prior to admission.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support continuity of care.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of admission documentation authorizations and medical records.
- Educate residents and families regarding admission procedures care plans and facility policies.
- Assess residents for appropriate level of care and identify immediate clinical or safety concerns.
- Coordinate room assignments equipment and resident care needs upon admission.
- Maintain compliance with state federal facility and HIPAA regulations.
- Assist with resident transfers and discharge coordination as needed.
- Preferably 1-3 years of clinical nursing experience with at least two years in long term care and two years of successful experience in administration consultation or involvement in the survey process
- Must have an RN license in good standing
