Avalon Care Center at Northpointe in Spokane is seeking an Admissions Nurse to join our team!

$48.00- $54.69 /hr

Sunday - Tuesday 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Minimum Pay - $48.00. Maximum pay- $54.69.

**Placement within the wage range for this position is determined by years of experience qualifications and demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions.**

Responsibilities

Admissions Process

  • Complete admission assessments for incoming residents including physical and clinical evaluations.
  • Coordinate admissions to ensure a smooth transition into the facility.
  • Review hospital records physician orders medications and treatment plans prior to admission.
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support continuity of care.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of admission documentation authorizations and medical records.
  • Educate residents and families regarding admission procedures care plans and facility policies.
  • Assess residents for appropriate level of care and identify immediate clinical or safety concerns.
  • Coordinate room assignments equipment and resident care needs upon admission.
  • Maintain compliance with state federal facility and HIPAA regulations.
  • Assist with resident transfers and discharge coordination as needed.
Qualifications
  • Preferably 1-3 years of clinical nursing experience with at least two years in long term care and two years of successful experience in administration consultation or involvement in the survey process
Licenses/Certification
  • Must have an RN license in good standing
