Job Description
The purpose of this position is to recruit prospective students to Texas State through visits from high schools two-year colleges and counseling students parents and visiting guests. The Admissions Counselor position requires excellent oral and written communication skills as well as exceptional interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with family programming Current or former Texas State University employee or alumnus Two or more years of prior professional experience in college admissions Bilingual Spanish speaking Experience coordinating events programs or group visits. Experience presenting to large groups Experience working independently with minimum supervision
