ADMINISTRATOR OF INCLUSIVE PRACTICES

Leominster Public Schools is seeking an Administrator of Inclusive Practices to support a co-teaching model and small-group intervention.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree required
  • Valid Massachusetts administrator license (K - 8 preferred)
  • Extensive experience with special education inclusive teaching practices supporting a co-teaching model and small-group interventions.
  • 5 years of administrative experience in evaluations and coaching
  • Effectively implement professional development and data-centered professional learning communities (PLCs)
  • Experience supporting students through student-centered lessons with a focus on inclusive practices
  • Strong knowledge of the MA state standards and the effective teaching and learning practices that promote success for all learners including the ability to:
    • Implement tasks that promote reasoning and problem-solving
    • Pose purposeful questions
    • Support productive struggle in learning
    • Elicit and use evidence of student thinking
    • Use data to inform instruction and intervention
    • Collaborate effectively with colleagues and support teachers in inclusive practices
