ADMINISTRATOR OF INCLUSIVE PRACTICES
Leominster Public Schools is seeking an Administrator of Inclusive Practices to support a co-teaching model and small-group intervention.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree required
- Valid Massachusetts administrator license (K - 8 preferred)
- Extensive experience with special education inclusive teaching practices supporting a co-teaching model and small-group interventions.
- 5 years of administrative experience in evaluations and coaching
- Effectively implement professional development and data-centered professional learning communities (PLCs)
- Experience supporting students through student-centered lessons with a focus on inclusive practices
- Strong knowledge of the MA state standards and the effective teaching and learning practices that promote success for all learners including the ability to:
- Implement tasks that promote reasoning and problem-solving
- Pose purposeful questions
- Support productive struggle in learning
- Elicit and use evidence of student thinking
- Use data to inform instruction and intervention
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and support teachers in inclusive practices
