Administrative Team Member Elkhart IN


As the result of a retirement our client is adding anAdministrative Team Member to their team. This in-office position that provides the opportunity to join a well-established accounting firm known for its collaborative team-oriented environment.


The schedule is Monday through Friday 8:00am5:00pm from January through Memorial Day and Labor Day through December with Monday through Thursday 8:00am5:00pm during the summer months. The position plays an essential role in providing outstanding client service and keeping daily office operations running smoothly.


Job Duties:

  • Greet clients and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls
  • Assist clients with document drop-offs pickups and general questions
  • Scan organize and route client documents
  • Prepare outgoing mail packages and correspondence
  • Receive sort and distribute incoming mail and deliveries
  • Support electronic signature processes and client document collection
  • Maintain client files office records and shared documents
  • Assist with tax season administrative projects and deadline-driven workflows
  • Accept client payments and prepare daily deposits
  • Provide administrative support for accounts receivable or tax processing depending on office location
  • Maintain reception areas conference rooms and office supply inventory
  • Coordinate general office needs and assist with special projects
  • Provide backup support to other administrative team members as needed

The right candidate will be detail-oriented dependable and comfortable balancing a variety of responsibilities in a professional office environment.


Requirements:

  • Previous administrative office support front desk or customer service experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook Word and Excel
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while following established procedures
  • Professional dependable and team-oriented attitude
  • Willingness to learn new software and office processes
  • Reliable transportation with the ability to work in either office location as needed
  • Accounting bookkeeping payroll tax office or financial services experience is a plus but not required
