Job Summary

Fallbrook Union Elementary School District is a K-8 district.

The Administrative School Secretarywill under the direction of the school principal:

  • Provide secretarialoffice support service to school administrativeand staff.
  • Relieve the principal of administrative detail and perform technical duties.
  • Assist in coordinating a broad range of functions throughout the school.
  • Facilitate a continual flow of contacts with pupils teachers administrators and the public.
  • Assign and review the work of school office staff and volunteers at the direction of the school principal.
  • Assist in establishing the proper atmospherefor the school and District.
  • Perform other related work as required.

  • WORK SCHEDULE:8hours/day 5 days/week Monday - Friday 7:30 a.m. -4:00 p.m.
  • BENEFITS: Benefit package includes Health and Welfare paid sick leave vacation and holidays (currently observing 14 paid holidays a year).
  • REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLYING:Equivalent to the completionof the twelfth grade; supplemented by or including courses in office organization or secretary skills or any combination of training and/or experiencethat provide the desired knowledge and abilities. Prior service demonstrating responsibleoffice experience preferably in a school district. Type @ 45 net words per minute. First Aid Certificate.
  • LICENSE/CERTIFICATE:First Aid Certificate; Typing Certificate dated within the last six (6) months. NO ONLINE TYPING CERTIFICATES ARE ACCEPTED. (Required on or before July 10 2026) FUESD provides typing tests.
  • REQUIRED ATTACHMENTS (PDF):
    Letter of Recommendation - 1 (within the last year and preferably from the most recent employer)

    Resume indicating prior service demonstrating responsible office experience preferably in a school district.
    First Aid Certificate

    Typing Certificate with verification of completion (dated within the last six (6) months) of typing assessment with a corrected net speed of 45 words per minute. NO ONLINE TYPING CERTIFICATES ARE ACCEPTED. (Required on or before July 10 2026)
