Job Summary
The Administrative & Payroll Assistant plays a key role in maintaining efficient office workflows while supporting payroll and basic HR functions. This position requires strong attention to detail discretion with sensitive information and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced high-energy environment. This role is based at our Denver CO headquarters and works cross-functionally with HR finance and operations teams.
Administrative Duties
Provide general administrative support including scheduling filing and correspondence
Serve as insurance liaison for Certificate of Insurance (COI) requests
Manage permitting and licensing applications and filings
Oversee travel expense tracking reporting and reconciliation
Perform general office management duties including supply coordination and vendor communication
Assist with workers compensation reporting and insurance claim filing
Maintain office supplies and coordinate vendor orders
Assist with document preparation data entry and record keeping
Support internal team coordination and meetings
Payroll & HR Support
Process employee payroll accurately and on schedule
Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with applicable regulations
Track employee hours PTO and benefits data
Assist with onboarding and employee documentation
Respond to payroll-related inquiries from staff
Qualifications
13 years of administrative and/or payroll experience
Familiarity with payroll process
Strong organizational and time management skills
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word Outlook)
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Compensation: $25 - $30 Based on Experience
