Job Summary

Performs administrative assistant functions for a Navy Program Office.

Telework is not supported. Travel is not required.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Performs administrative assistant functions such as answering and redirecting phone calls greeting and checking in visitors agendas and managing calendars for designated Government personnel.
• Files Documentation and records management.
• Completestravel orders in DTS.
• Prepares spreadsheets graphs pivot charts and other visual media using advanced features in Microsoft Office (i.e. Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook).
• Supports the execution of timekeeper functions in the Governments designated system (e.g. NERP) such as initiating new user requests preparing reports and confirming the completion of employee time entries.
• Prepares conference room for meetings including briefs white boards poster boards and other materials necessary for the conduct of the meeting.
• Submits facilities requests for repairs and office change such as furniture moves.
• Prepares and maintains muster sheet and assist Government personnel with conducting muster during building evacuations or other events requiring muster.
• Assists Government and Contractor personnel with use of hotel software to reserve office spaces plan and configure hoteling spaces and other facilities resources.
• Verifiesaccess credentials of visitors to classified spaces using Government provided procedures.

Qualifications and Skills

Required knowledge and years of experience

Must have at least seven (7) years of experience and knowledge in Defense Travel System (DTS).

Education Requirements

Bachelors Degree in Accounting Finance Economics or Business Administration.

The minimum salary starts at $120000 and the max is negotiable based on experience
