Under general supervision the Administrative Coordinator coordinates MBA budgets events student communications course scheduling registration support faculty evaluations student assistants payroll purchasing and travel while collaborating with faculty staff students and campus partners to support program operations and student success.

  • Projects and monitors budget for the MBA. Maintains Reconciliation Workbook and Expenditure Log; submits rec log reports to deans office and meets with appropriate managers regarding budget status regularly.
  • Creates and monitors travel expenses for staff and graduate students; initiates and monitors special pay authorizations for graduate faculty teaching for the MBA.
  • Provides administrative assistance for all events developed by the MBA Program (and college as needed); examples include and not limited to guest speaker series workshops information sessions program orientation faculty forum and graduation events/commencement ceremonies.
  • Aids Program Director and MBA Program Coordinator in promoting student success. Creates requests and distributes access codes to the MBA incoming students; communicates with students using program communication methods (i.e. email Canvas page(s)); delegates and audits the Electronic Thesis and Dissertation (ETD) process; arranges culminating experience projects and program coordination of reports and client presentations; ensures student needs are met and advisement information is communicated through various media (i.e. Canvas website email).
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
