A mission-driven nonprofit is seeking an Administrative Coordinator to provide administration operational and project management support. This is a full-time In-person temporary-to-permanent role based in Washington DC.

LOCATION:Washington DC (Hybrid)

POSITION TITLE: Administrative Coordinator

SCHEDULE: 9 am - 5 pm

DURATION: Temporary to Permanent

HOURLY RATE: $28/hr - $31/hr


Is This Your Dream JobThis role is responsible for managing executive calendars coordinating meetings and committee activities tracking projects and supporting day-to-day operations to ensure the department runs efficiently.


Our Ideal Candidate:

  • 3 years of experience providing administrative support project coordination or operations support.
  • Bachelors degree preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare nonprofit association government affairs and public policy is preferred.
  • Strong organizational project management and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to draft professional correspondence.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities meet deadlines and work collaboratively across teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook Excel PowerPoint and Word.
  • Experience with or other project management software is a plus.


How You Will Spend Your Day:

  • Manage calendars schedules and meeting logistics for department leadership.
  • Coordinate committee task force and conference call logistics including agendas meeting materials notes and follow-up action items.
  • Provide project coordination and administrative support across the Advocacy & Policy team.
  • Track departmental projects timelines and assignments using and other shared tools.
  • Prepare reports presentations correspondence and other department materials.
  • Assist with mailings data entry and general administrative tasks.
  • Support office operations and serve as backup for office coordination when needed.
