Two years of experience in administrative services.

EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience.

Job Duties and Other Information

Job Duties:

Serves as the primary point of contact by greeting clients answering phones and assisting customers with accessing services and completing applications for SNAP FITAP KINSHIP and LACAP

Provides hands-on support to clients using kiosk systems and computers including assisting individuals with limited computer skills to successfully submit applications

Utilizes multiple complex systems (LITE PSIFUSION ONBASE INMAR) to process requests such as address updates benefit verifications and issuance or replacement of EBT cards

Maintains program knowledge to identify eligibility for expedited services (SNAPX) and offers voter registration assistance in accordance with policy

Performs clerical duties including receiving scanning and indexing incoming mail and faxes and preparing outgoing correspondence for distribution

Participates in ongoing training and professional development to maintain knowledge of program policies compliance requirements and disaster response protocols

Supports disaster response efforts by assisting with Disaster Food Stamp Program operations interviewing applicants registering evacuees coordinating shelter support and utilizing systems to track and deliver benefits
