Salary Information: The salary range is$52614-$70038per the Administrative & Maintenance Personnel CBA Salary Scale.Compensation is determined inaccordance withrelevant degrees and certifications held andyears of applicable experience provided.
Benefits: In addition to base compensation this position is eligible for:35 working days of annual leave paid holidays and health and retirement benefits eligibility which includes medical dental vision life insurance and a 403(b) plan.

POSITION SUMMARY
TheAdministrative Assistant IIis a vital support role primarily focused on thedaily coordination of primary school operations (Vie Scolaire). The position facilitates and administers the day-to-day operations of the primary school serves as a primary contact for internal and external constituencies regarding student matters and provides essential administrative and operational support to ensure a smooth respectful and safe school environment.

  • Student Supervision and Logistics:Supervise student arrival (bus and carpool) dismissal and lunch organization including checking daily attendance of lunch monitors.

  • Student Movement Coordination:Collaborate with transportation and after-school departments to manage student movements via SchoolPass.

  • Attendance and Data Entry:Verify daily student attendance and ensure accuracy in PowerSchool. Update ADP for lunch monitors regarding attendance hours and absences.

  • Student Support and Conduct:Support the follow-up of student discipline assemblies and delegate elections. Provide direct support and assistance to new students during their acclimatization.

  • Emergency and Administrative Response:Respond to emergencies (911 calls minor first aid) when the nurse is absent.

  • Event and Monitor Coordination:Participate in organizing school events field trips overnight trips and student activities. Assist with childcare coordination and monitor training.

  • Communication:Maintain professional positive and effective communication with parents staff and students regarding various primary school operations.

  • Office Operations and Resources:Ensure the office runs smoothly by managing supplies (ordering and distribution) arranging for equipment service and building service assistance and ensuring general office support is available to staff.

  • Perform additional duties consistent with the scope and intent of the position as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Requirements:
  • High School or GED diploma

  • Native-likebilingual fluency in French and English

  • Three or more years experience in a related field or position

  • Well-developed and effective communication skills (oral and written) and strong human relations skills; ability to work positively with students teachers support staff parents and members of the community

  • Strong computer and technological literacy

  • Demonstrated attention to detail and strong organizational and time management skills

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and security of information

  • Regular predictable and reliable attendance at work

  • Demonstrate a commitment to Rochambeaus vision mission values and strategic aims

  • Three Professional References (name position contact number and email) listed on your CV/resume

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent

  • Experience in a private international or school setting

  • Proficient knowledge of Google office platform

  • Experience providing administrative/data management functions using modern office technology and database management systems (e.g. PowerSchool Pronote Mage ADP etc)


PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This position primarily operates in a school/office environment. The role requires prolonged periods of sitting walking or standing extensive use of computers and other office equipment and occasional lifting or moving of equipment up to 25 pounds.
