Administrative Assistant New Behavioral Health Hospital near Jacksonville FL - Opening Late Summer 2026
The Administrative Assistant providesadministrative support to facility management to ensure efficient operation of the facility.
Coastal Pines will be a modern purpose-built facility and a cornerstone of behavioral health care in Northeast Florida designed to meet the growing demand for high-quality psychiatric services in the region. The 144-bed behavioral health hospital located in St. Johns will offer a full continuum of services including inpatient psychiatric care Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT).

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Support managers and employees through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication.
- Responsible for confidential and time sensitive material.
- Familiar with a variety of the fields concepts practices and procedures.
- Effectively communicate via phone and email ensuring that all duties are completed accurately delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.
- Attend meetings and take accurate minutes.
- May responsible for accurate and timely physician credentialing.
- May direct and lead the work of others.
- May manage and coordinate administrative programs and office activities.
- Create spreadsheets manage databases and prepare presentations reports and documents as needed.
- Answer telephones and take messages or transfer calls.
- May cover the reception desk when .
- Calendar management schedule appointments update calendars and arrange staff meetings
OTHER FUNCTIONS:
- Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associates degree preferred.
