Job Duties
This position will maintain the Liquid Nicotine and Nicotine Vapor Product Directory. The position also provides administrative and operational support for the Regulated Products Enforcement Unit whose staff members investigate and prosecute suspected violations of consumer protection statutes regulating certain products including liquid nicotine and nicotine vapor products products containing kratom and products containing tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). This individual will receive and process certification forms and payments from manufacturers of liquid nicotine and nicotine vapor products seeking to have their products included in the Directory and will communicate with manufacturers when information is addition this individual will enter data into the Directory as well as manage and maintain correspondence documents and files for the Regulated Products Enforcement Unit. This position reports to the Regulated Products Enforcement Unit Manager.
Minimum Qualifications
- This position requires competent working knowledge of case file management and basic correspondence.
- The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills data entry skills proofreading proficiency in time management the ability to work independently and as a team member and the ability to organize and manage large quantities of written and verbal information.
- The successful candidate must also demonstrate the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and to adjust priorities without close supervision.
- The position requires computer proficiency including working knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Word Outlook Excel and databases.
- Candidates should have the ability to exercise sound judgment and interact effectively with a diverse workforce and the general public.
