JOB TITLE Administrative Assistant - Professional Learning and Pathways

SUMMARY It is the responsibility of this position to provide administrative support to the Executive Director ofProfessional Learning and Pathways.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES(other duties and responsibilities may be assigned)

• Assists with organizing professional development in-service training and curriculum development.
• Registers staff members for professional development.
• Coordinates logistics for New Teacher Orientation.
• Facilitates the administrative process for standardized testing including ACT and AP Exams.
• Maintains the calendar for the Executive Director of Professional Learning and Pathways.
• Coordinates AP summer Boot Camp logistics and communications.
• Supports the clerical and administrative needs of the Director of Post-Secondary Success.
• Provides support for Den Time (Student Support Initiative) and Den Time Teacher Leaders.
• Manages the field trip approval process.
• Provides clerical support to the Instructional Council.
• Sends communications on behalf of the division.
• Assists with data management tasks.
• Supports the management of department budget(s) and Title Grants.
• Provides coverage for the Receptionist and other Administrative Assistants as needed.

• None

EDUCATION CERTIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or its equivalent
• Previous clerical experience preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite
• Bilingual preferred

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Must be able to perform all of the duties and responsibilities of the position.
• Ability to communicate effectively and accurately both orally and in writing in English.
• Ability to communicate effectively and accurately both orally and in writing in Spanish preferred.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with both internal and external constituents.
• Ability to work independently stay on task multi-task and take responsibility to complete assigned projects and duties in a timely and efficient manner.
