Maine Public is seeking two full-time Administrative Assistants to join our Membership team!
Serving as a front desk point of contact in a busy office this position assists with day-to-day Membership and Audience Services tasks and as a key point of contact for visitors. Work includes providing administrative coverage and audience support including responding to email answering phones fielding general inquiries welcoming guests troubleshooting member issues and concerns providing excellent customer service performing routine data entry and database maintenance and processing member payments and acknowledgements. This role works some events and the schedule varies as needed including occasional shifts on nights and weekends.
Its an exciting time for Maine Public as we are moving into our new Portland facility! As a statewide nonprofit network for public radio and public television we arebuilding for the future and creating a new center with modern studios for Maine Public Radio Maine Public Classical and much of the networks news operation. The venue will include space for music performances speakers screenings and partnerships with civic organizations.
Job Requirements: Two years of administrative support or customer service experience high school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience; excellent verbal and written communications skills; proficiency and experience with Microsoft Outlook Word Excel; experience with database data entry CRM or constituent database systems preferred. Must have a high level of organization and be detail oriented. A valid drivers license is required.

The starting hourly rate is approx. $22.75 plus a comprehensive benefits package including healthcare retirement paid time off dental vision and other supplemental benefits.
