Job Summary
Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Department: Manufacturing
Reports to: Production Manager
Required Education: High School
Purpose of the Position
Handling the daily activities which includes phone calls meetings appointments and greeting visitors.
Experience Required:
Excellent verbal and written skills required.
Associates degree preferred but equivalent experience can be substituted for education.
Proficient in Microsoft Office such as Word Excel PowerPoint
Familiar with ERP system
Proficient with payroll processing programs.
Efficient with the Internet.
Must be detail oriented and organized.
Must be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
Interest in and prior experience in managing small projects.
Problem-solving mindset; adaptable proactive and team-oriented.
Experience creating revising and maintaining work instructions standard operating procedures (SOP) and
manufacturing process documentation.
Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement. Including identifying waste
standardizing processes supporting efficiency and quality improvement.

Description of Job Duties:
Support the onboarding process for new employees.
Schedule meetings appointments and other business activities.
Screen and prioritize phone calls inquiries and requests.
Anticipate and prepare materials for meetings correspondence appointments and telephone calls.
Prepare reports and respond to inquiries by gathering and organizing information from a variety of sources.
Prepare production documents.
Respond to requests and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
Draft revise edit and proofread correspondence reports and other documents as needed.
Handle confidential information with discretion while performing administrative duties in accordance with company
policies practices and philosophy.

Maintain site records in accordance with Knights Armament Company policies and procedures.
Maintain and organize site shared folders and electronic records.
Partner with Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) and Quality leadership to coordinate communicate and track site
compliance activities.
Manage office areas conference rooms and meeting accommodations with an emphasis on organization and cost
control.
Greet site visitors as a first point of contact.
Partner with leadership to continuously improve service and quality standards.
Track and document progress of all project phases.
Monitor production performance identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and deliver exceptional customer service.
Provide administrative and operational support to the department as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
