Job Summary: | The Barbara Davis Center Pediatric Division has an opening for a full-time University Staff (unclassified) Administrative Assistant II position. This position carries out established work processes and operations by learning to apply and follow procedures techniques rules and regulations. Once training has been completed the position is to be moved to the next level. Positions should not remain in this class indefinitely. This position is a full-time (40 hours per week) Non-Exempt Professional position at the Barbara Davis Center for Diabetes Pediatric Clinic at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. The administrative support role primarily involves managing patient appointments and administrative tasks using the EPIC EMR system. This includes greeting patients scheduling appointments and updating patient information such as demographics and insurance details. Additionally responsibilities include collecting co-payments verifying insurance coverage and coordinating referrals for visits. Special attention is given to preparing for Type I Diabetes New Onset patient arrivals. The role also entails providing assistance to division personnel and contributing to various projects as assigned. Patient Check-In/Check-Out Scheduling/Payment 80% (Essential Function)

Anticipated Pay Range: | The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as $40248-$48300 The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the Universitys good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
