Greet & assist office visitors and answer incoming calls. Performs administrative tasks for the County Treasurers office orders supplies maintains supply inventory maintenance of office equipment.
Verifies balances receipts relocates and maintains financial records of monies collected by Fort Bend County.
Assists payroll with various tasks including OnBase document verification and edit entry verification for accuracy.
Researches verifies inputs and posts court collections defendant data.
Processes Accounts Payable and Payroll ACH files transfer funds Infor/Lawson bookings and printing of county checks.
Registers accounts payable invoices and maintains retention records.
Makes travel arrangements assists with trainings meetings and community activities.
Participates in activities and duties related to emergency management during a local state of disaster as directed by appropriate county managers.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma/GED.
3 years job related experience; bookkeeping cash handling and accounting preferred.
Adaptability to shift work to meet strict deadlines.
Accurate data entry oversight capabilities and research skills.
Working knowledge of Iplow Odyssey and the CLEAR system and proficient in Infor/Lawson online banking and iNovah cash management system.
Good verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with the public and elected officials.
Strong organizational and project management skills self-motivated and deadline oriented.
STARTING SALARY RANGE: $18.31 - $22.89 hourly based on qualifications
