Admin Supervisor (Licensed)

PURPOSE STATEMENT:Preventive Services help keep children safe from abuse neglect and maltreatment and help them remain at home and in their communities. We partner with at-risk families by assisting them to develop the skills to manage crisis and maintain safety and stability by offering a range of clinical and concrete services to help them thrive. Our culturally competent staff addresses the individual needs of the child each family member residing with the child and their social economic environment. Families are seen primarily in their homes and OVERVIEW:The Administrative Supervisor is a role that bridges supervisory and director-level responsibilities within Preventive Services. The Administrative Supervisor provides cross-program supervision to supervisors supports clinical and administrative oversight and ensures continuity of operations across position functions as a flexible leadership resource and is expected to provide coverage for Director Supervisor and Case Planner responsibilities as needed to maintain program stability compliance and service ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Provides administrative and clinical leadership support across multiple Preventive supervision to Supervisors across Directors in ensuring program compliance with ACS/OCFS coverage for Director Supervisor and Case Planner roles as documentation and FASPs to ensure quality and staff development coaching and performance in intake case conferences and risk management program performance and supports operational with ACS and other direct service as COMPETENCIES:Strong clinical and administrative leadershipAdvanced knowledge of child welfare systemsAbility to supervise supervisorsStrong assessment and risk management skillsStrong organizational and communication skillsEDUCATION:Masters degree in Social Work Psychology Mental Health Counseling Marriage and Family Therapy Creative Arts Therapy or related License (e.g. LMSW LMHC LMFT LCAT or LCSW)EXPERIENCE:Minimum 3 years in child welfare/preventive services and supervisory experience SKILLS REQUIRED:Knowledge of Microsoft office requiredKnowledge and experience with the Connections system preferredVISUAL AND MANUAL DEXIERITY:Limited applications of manual dexterity and hand-eye coordinationWORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL EFFORT:To perform the essential functions of this job the candidate must be able to travel within New York City carrying equipment such as a notebook forms laptop mobile hotspot and cell phone weighing up to approximately 10 poundsRisks/hazards associated with the position are those which may be encountered travelling around New York City and interfacing with clients experiencing an acute mental health crisis or serious emotional disturbanceTravel in the community and home-based is currently hybrid but can become 100% in person based on program you join us youll have these great benefits:Generous paid time off in addition to paid agency holidays and 15 sick daysAffordable and high-quality medical/dental/vision plansTuition assistance and educational loan forgivenessFree continuing education opportunities403(b) retirement benefits and a pensionFlexible spending accounts for health and transportation27/7 Accessible Employee Assistance ProgramLife and disability insuranceWho we are:The Jewish Board delivers innovative high-quality and compassionate mental health and social services to over 45000 New Yorkers each year.
