Frequently reaches (extending hands and arms in any direction) and handles (seizing holding grasping turning or working with hands).Essential FunctionsResponds immediately to critical eventsProvides leadership and follow up during critical events such as code blue code red and code appropriate follow up (i.e. staff education documentation family / staff support etc.)Adjusts staffing levels to ensure the highest level of patient staffing needs continuously and adjusts as necessary to meet the needs of the patient for the current and next shifts. Functions as a clinical and administrative resource for the nursing as a clinical and administrative resource for the nursing clinical consultation advice and staff with all employee performance evaluations by evaluation due staff with conflict resolution (i.e. staff / physician patient / physician staff / staff).Mediates and communicates situation for patients families and on patient / staff patients other departments to meet patient operations of other departments during non-operating as an administrative resource for other departments during non-operative of Other Duties:This document describes the major duties and responsibilities for this job and is not intended to be a complete list of all tasks and functions. Shift: 20 - 22 hours varying shifts every 3rd weekend and holiday. Work week is Monday through Sunday
