Adjunct Professor – Fundamental Neuroscience

Job Summary
Viterbo University is seeking a part-time one semester adjunct instructor to teach Fundamental Neuroscience.
We are looking for someone to teach Fundamental Neuroscience which is an upper-level neuroscience course for 3 credits. This position is one semester only this fall. Class timing is flexible and can be in-person online or blended.
Course Description: Fundamental Neuroscience explores central concepts of neural structure and function with an emphasis on how mammalian nervous systems receive process and output information Content coverage includes neurophysiology synaptic communication brain development sensation and perception learning and memory and more. Requirements: Previous year teaching experience and at least 18 credits of graduate work in neuroscience molecular and/or cellular biology.
Flexible schedule with remote as the primary option; on campus as needed. Fully remote workers must reside in California Florida Illinois Iowa Michigan Minnesota Missouri Nevada New Jersey Ohio or Wisconsin.
Evening hours may be required to accommodate student schedules.
