Job Summary

Position Description & Overview:

The Girard School of Business at Merrimack College has openings for an in person Undergraduate course for Principles of Marketing for the Fall 2026 semester.
Undergraduate courses:

Principles of Marketing(MGT2205-A) Monday/Wednesday/Friday 9:45AM - 11:00AM

The course starts on August 31st and will run through December 18th 2026. The course is in-person on-campus for all scheduled classes and all interested applicants must be able to deliver the course in this modality.

Course description:

Principles of Marketing(MGT2205-A):The marketing course introduces marketing as a functional area of a business enterprise. Students will study numerous marketing principles and functions including the marketing concept the marketing mix buyer behavior market segmentation product positioning and marketing research all within a global context.

Qualifications:


  • Masters degree in business or related area Ph.D. preferred. College teaching experience is preferred although related work experience may be considered.

Compensation

Minimum: $5000 per 4-credit course


Minimum: $3750 per lab section


The actual pay offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as but not limited to candidate qualifications and prior experience scope of responsibilities internal equity and market considerations.
