Adjunct, Lander College for Men Athletic Department

Touros Lander College of Mens is hiring adjunct faculty in the athletic department. Adjuncts are responsible for instruction course preparation developing instructional materials student advisement grading and assessment as a member of the instructional team of a school or academic department.

• Prepares and delivers lectures to undergraduate students
• Prepare course materials including: syllabi exams homework assignments and handouts
• Creating a classroom environment where students feel comfortable participating and learning
• Preparing students for assessments and providing helpful performance feedback
• Maintains regularly scheduled office hours in order to advise and assist students checking college emails regularly
• Keeping up-to-date with advancements in the field and integrating new knowledge into curriculum

Education/ Experience

• Previous college level athletic teaching experience preferred

• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Expert knowledge of field
• Ability to make decisions and solve problems
• Performs administrative activities
