Job Summary:
The Department of Humanities at Columbia College seeks an adjunct (part-time) instructor to teach HIST 111: Ancient Worlds: A Global Story during the Fall 2026 semester. This is a world history class covering prehistory to 1500CE. It is an in-seat synchronous general education class taught on our home campus in Columbia Missouri. Classes start on 31 August and this class meets Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays 2:30 pm 3:25 p.m.
Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications include a Masters Degree in History with graduate coursework in world history content. College teaching experience preferred.
