Job Summary
High Point University is currently seeking an Adjunct Instructor of Theatre. The Adjunct Instructor of Theater will design a syllabus select texts manage course scheduling grade course materials and fill out required assessment materials related to the section. Reporting to the Chair the instructor will teach one section of THE 2310 (Playwriting) in the Spring Semester of 2025.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
- Terminal degree required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Responsible for the management of one section of THE 2310 (Playwriting) in the Spring Semester of 2025.
- Manage course scheduling grade course materials fill out assessment materials
- Stimulate and support excellence and integrity in teaching and learning
- Initiate and oversee activities designed to foster and improve student learning and engagement
ACCOUNTABILITY:
- The position reports to the Chair of Theater & Dance
