Job Summary
Essential Functions
Plan prepare and deliver engaging instruction for noncredit community education and leisure learning classes in accordance with approved course descriptions and program objectives. Create and maintain a positive inclusive and safe learning environment that encourages student participation and lifelong learning. Communicate effectively with students and Continuing Education staff regarding class expectations schedules materials attendance and program needs. Maintain accurate attendance and class records submit required documentation in a timely manner and follow all college policies procedures and safety guidelines. Promote a Culture of Belonging Support and promote an environment of belonging where all students faculty members and college employees feel welcomed valued and empowered to contribute. Foster a community where each individual and their varied perspectives enrich the educational experience and create a safe and respectful environment. Support the Colleges policies and programming related to access fair employment and equal opportunities for all.
Minimum Qualifications
Demonstrated subject matter expertise relevant to the course topic.
