Job Summary
BLU 101: Foundations Seminar: This course assists first-semester freshmen in their college transition placing emphasis on academic skill building wellness community and belonging and the colleges Franciscan mission.
BLU 151: Public Speaking: This course helps second-semester freshmen develop their voice through oral communication with a common learning module on civil dialogue.
BLU 201: Service Learning and Civic Engagement: This course taken in the sophomore year introduces students to the value of civic engagement and gives them the opportunity to design service projects that support a local community partner.
BLU 301: Junior Symposium: This course taken in the junior year exposes students to current affairs on a global scale through a team-teaching model that highlights inter-disciplinary perspectives.
Requirements/Qualifications:
A Masters degree in Communications English History Political Science Sociology or a related field. Prior college teaching experience in a General Education setting is preferred.

*Hilbert College is able to hire candidates who reside in New York Florida Michigan Wyoming Ohio and West Virginia.
Compensation: $2500 for in-person undergraduate courses; $1600 for online undergraduate 7.5 week courses.
